Grants

Please note: GRANTS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE  but we are working towards grants for individuals suffering social anxiety and mental health issues in the UK. One Voice (Cornwall) will only be able to make small grants.

One Voice (Cornwall) helps people with their mental health through access to 4 different choirs according to the individuals needs and goals. Research shows ALL members benefited enormously from their participation.

Just some of the many testimonials:

[I gained]..."Feeling able to talk about things with other members without judging or being judged. Feeling like a valued person within the choir. Liz has the ability to make everyone feel good about themselves, she is never dismissive or undermining, a special gift besides her fantastic voice.""

"Meeting life long friends"

The gala day will be etched on my memory forever! Incredibly special. Such a feeling of unity and love amongst the whole choir and audience."

Don't hesitate to experience these positive feelings and create a special bond, memories and some life-long friends along the way.  Join us today!

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ABLE TO TAKE GRANT APPLICATIONS.

The usual grant amount will range between £50-£600. In exceptional circumstances we may exceed £600 and take repeat grants. Grants will be made based on the funding available and solely on merit. One Voice will apply the following grant funding criteria:

  1. Applicants must reside in the UK, with a preference for those in Cornwall and surrounding areas.

  2. Applicants must have financial needs and be facing financial barriers (proof of financial need such as bank statement must be attached).

  3. Funding must be to access mental health therapy.

You can find our full funding criteria in our Grant Making Policy.

Need a different way of applying?

If the ways listed above are not accessible to you, you can contact us and we can put you in touch with someone who will be able to support you with the application.
